Andrew R. Tank has been practicing family law in northern Virginia since he was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 2007. He joined the Firm as an associate in March of 2011. Mr. Tank graduated from James Madison University in 2002, where he made the President’s List in 2001 and 2002. In 2007, he graduated cum laude from the University of Richmond School of Law. He is an active member of the Virginia State Bar’s Young Lawyers Conference, serving as program chair for the state bar’s annual meeting since 2009, and being appointed to its nominations committee for 2011. In 2010 he began as a regular contributor to “Docket Call,” the Young Lawyers Conference’s quarterly newsletter, writing articles on family law topics. He was elected as a board member for the Fairfax Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Section in June of 2010. Mr. Tank grew up in Alexandria Virginia, less than a mile from George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate. He currently lives in McLean, Virginia.
