Ms. Isaacs has been practicing domestic relations law since 1988 and has been recognized as one of the top divorce lawyers in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area and Virginia by Washingtonian Magazine, which stated that Ms. Isaacs is not intimidated by anyone. Richmond Magazine recognized her as a Virginia Super Lawyer . She is listed in The Best Lawyers of America and as a Washington D.C. Super Lawyer and received Martin Dale-Hubble's highest rating of AV.

Ms. Isaacs is a native of Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. She resides in Fairfax, Virginia with her husband, Mark Isaacs, where they raised their two children. Ms. Isaacs practices in all areas of Family law, including divorce, custody, child support, spousal support and equitable distribution of property. She handles very complex equitable distribution cases involving the valuation of businesses, law firms and medical practices. She has extensive experience in retirement benefits issues including, federal government, military and corporate retirement systems. Ms. Isaacs has also represented parents in child abuse cases and one of her cases was the subject on an article in the January 07, Reader's Digest. Ms. Isaacs is well known for her zealous advocacy on behalf of her clients.

Ms. Isaacs graduated from George Mason School of Law in 1988 and was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 1988 and the District of Columbia Bar in 1989. She is licensed to practice in all Virginia State Courts and the local Courts in the District of Columbia. She is also licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Ms. Isaacs has served as a Commissioner in Chancery and a Neutral Case Evaluator for the Fairfax Circuit Court. She is a Member of the Fairfax Bar Association, the Alexandria Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Womens' Attorneys Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. Ms. Isaacs served as chair of the Alexandria Bar Association Family Law Committee for five years. She has also served on the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Committee, the Education Committee, and the Circuit Court Committee and the Conciliation Committee for the Fairfax Bar Association.

Ms. Isaacs has served on the Board of Directors of the Women's Center since 1991. She served as its Secretary / Treasurer from 2001 to 2005, and as its President and Chairwoman of the Board from October 2005 to November 2007. She has also lectured on Divorce, and on other family law issues. Ms. Isaacs has Martindale Hubbell's highest rating of AV. She is a member of Leadership Fairfax Class of 2001. Ms. Isaacs practices primarily in the area of Family Law. She also has experience in Personal Injury Law and Criminal Law
