Jennifer Barnes Baumgartner joined our predecessor firm as an associate in September 2001. Ms. Baumgartner was born in Ventura, California, and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She currently resides in Woodbridge, Virginia with her husband, Jay.
Ms. Baumgartner graduated cum laude from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina in 1997, with an A.B. in Political Science and Psychology. She received her law degree from the University of Richmond in May of 2001. While in law school, Ms. Baumgartner served as Senior Notes & Comments Editor of the University of Richmond Law Review, and authored articles published in the March and May 2000 issues of the Law Review. She was also a member of the Richmond Journal of Law and the Public Interest and served as a Justice on the Honor Court. Ms. Baumgartner is a member of the Virginia State Bar, Virginia Women Attorneys Association, American Bar Association, and the Fairfax Bar Association.
Ms. Barnes practices in the areas of corporate law, commercial real estate and estate planning.
